Retreats

A Life Teen retreat is an unforgettable weekend where high school students can step away from the noise of everyday life to encounter Christ, build authentic friendships, and grow in their Catholic faith. Through prayer, the sacraments, inspiring talks, and plenty of fun, it’s a meaningful opportunity to be renewed and discover the joy of following Jesus.

Support Letters

It is a long standing tradition that parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family and friends write letters of support for the teens who are on retreat. These letters are meant to express love and support for your teen. You can share past memories, an appreciation for who your teen has grown up to be or a letter encouraging them to continue to grow in their faith. This is often one of the most impactful moments of the retreat for many teens and they will be so grateful for your letter.
If writing support letters please:
      • Deliver them to the parish office no later than the Thursday before retreat.
      • Make sure they are clearly labeled with your teen’s first and last name and say “Life Teen Retreat”
      • Put the letter in a envelope small enough to fit in a lunch-sized paper bag.

Letters can also be emailed to krosen@basilthegreat.org if you are unable to write or deliver a physical letter.
