At St. Basil Life Teen, our mission is simple: to lead teens closer to Christ and His Church. We believe every young person is called by God, deeply loved, and invited into a lifelong relationship with Jesus through the Eucharist, authentic community, and prayer.

Weekly Gatherings
Tuesday Night Prayer | 7pm | St. Basil Annex
Night prayer is a student-led prayer and bonding experience. Typically led by members of the senior class, teens gather together for some type of fun activity or game, then end the night by praying the Liturgy of the Hours (Night Prayer) together. These are very casual nights and teens are encouraged to invite friends!
Sunday Life Nights | 5pm Mass | 6pm Parish Center
These catechetical and social evenings are hosted on Sunday nights during the school year. Every night we cover a certain topic or issue relevant to the development of the teen’s Catholic faith. Life Nights are run by St. Basil’s Youth Minister, Joe Mannarino, and a team of CORE members (adult volunteers). Life Nights are open to all 9th-12th graders.

Confirmation
Our Confirmation program is a two-year journey of faith that begins in 9th grade and culminates with the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation in May of a student’s 10th grade year. (For example – if you are entering 9th grade in the Fall of 2026, you could be in the Confirmation Class of 2028). Throughout these two years, teens grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, and become more active members of the Church through prayer, the sacraments, service, and community
