For Parents
You are the primary teachers of the faith, and we are honored to partner with you. Our ministry is committed to helping teens and their families:
- Grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Develop a love for the Mass and the Eucharist.
- Receive and appreciate the grace of the sacraments.
- Build meaningful friendships rooted in the Catholic faith.
- Become joyful disciples who live their faith every day.
Together, we can help our teens encounter Christ and remain connected to His Church for a lifetime. St. Basil Life Teen partners with Life Teen International, parents, and our pastor to offer content that is relevant, engaging, and nourishing for teens today. Our programming is open to all 9th-12th graders, regardless of what school they attended or where they are in their faith journey.
Meet Our Team
Faithful Accompaniment
Life Teen is made possible through the faithful witness of our CORE Team—adult volunteers who have answered God’s call to accompany young people as they grow in faith. More than mentors, CORE members are disciples committed to building authentic relationships with teens, leading by example, and creating a welcoming community.
Each CORE member serves with a spirit of humility, joy, and prayer, recognizing that their presence can make a lasting impact on a teen’s relationship with Jesus. Whether facilitating small groups, leading discussions, or simply listening and walking alongside our youth, they are an essential part of the Life Teen mission.
To ensure a safe and nurturing environment for every teen, all CORE members are required to complete a comprehensive background check and maintain current Virtus training.

Joe Mannarino
Youth Minister
As Youth Minister, Joe believes that authentic relationships are at the heart of effective ministry. He loves getting to know teens, listening to their stories, and creating opportunities for them to encounter Christ.
When he’s not at church or hanging out with the Life Teen community, you’ll probably find Joe on the disc golf course, gathered around a board game with friends, or spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
Katie Rosen
Youth Ministry Administrator
As Youth Ministry Administrator, Katie supports the mission behind the scenes: from organizing events, communicating with families, and helping the little details come together.
Outside of ministry, Katie loves reading, everything “true crime”, and spending time with her husband, their three energetic little girls, and their golden retriever.
