2027 Confirmation Class

“The effect of the sacrament of confirmation is the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the apostles on the day of Pentecost.” (CCC 1302)

Preparing for Confirmation

St. Basil the Great confirms candidates in the spring of 10th grade. The confirmation program is a 2 year program that begins in 9th grade. Candidates are expected to complete the following requirements within those two years: 
  • Attend all Confirmation Meetings* 
  • Attend one retreat 
  • Complete 2 hours of community service per year 
  • Submit all forms on time

*meeting dates will be announced later this summer

Getting Started

DUE: September 1, 2025

If your teen will be a freshman in Fall 2025 and will be confirmed as a sophomore in the Spring 2027 please apply below. There is a $30 fee for participating in the Confirmation Program, but scholarships are available for those who need them. Be sure that you receive a confirmation email to verify that the form was completed.

*You will need to upload an electronic copy of the candidates baptismal certificate in order to complete the form. You can upload a file from your computer OR use your phone to fill out the form and take a picture directly in the camera app.

Sponsors and Confirmation names do not have to be chosen until December 2026. We encourage you and your teen to take time to discern their confirmation name and sponsor.
